Suite In Venice Ai Carmini - Venezia

The residence is close to transport, eating and shopping areas. Recomend for a 2-3 day visit to Venice.

Apartment as described in desired section city. Excellent value, view of canal. Would stay again.

Be aware there is no lift and you must lug your luggage up as many as 5 flight of stairs.

The location is very convenient, only a few minutes from the Grand Canal of Venice. The appartment was very clean.

The restrictive check-in times (to avoid financial penalties) are not the most convenient.

Though a little bit away from the main tourist areas in Venice, I found the quieter atmosphere to be a welcome change from the throngs at San Marco. Ai Carmini is just around the corner from Campo Santa Margherita, which had a vibrant scene in the evening with bars and restaurants. The apartment was clean. There is free WiFi, which was fast. Both bedrooms in the apartment we stayed in overlooked the Rio De Carmini canal. Two windows in each bedroom let in a lot of light. It was a beautiful locale with gondoliers passing in the canal below. The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from the train station and with the printed direction from the website we were able to walk to it without any problems.

We recommend Ai Carmini to anybody who likes to find a great central place to stay. The apatrment we stayed was amazing with a beautiful view of the canal. It was a true penthouse at a very affordable price. Ala welcomes you with wonderful kindness and is ready to make your visit memorable by giving you suggestions and recommendations. You miss out if you don't choose ai Carmini for your Venice experience!

Location was quiet ,but easily accessed once you got your bearings in Venice. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage after check out. Only issue was we were given incorrect directions to the ferry terminal, which cost us an hour and also 20E for a taxi , but we still made it in time for the ferry departure.

We stayed in two different appartments and both were equally good. Nice furnishing, convenient kitchenette, comfortable beds. Quiet area. Nice views of small channels - no gondollas, though. Free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff.

Spots from killed mosquitoes on the ceiling and walls. Wi-Fi does not in the bedrooms - only in the lounges / family rooms.

Location was great for walking everywhere. The apartment was a good size although the layout was a little strange.

The view is great. The apartment was clean, had a/c, location was good (anywhere in Venice you are going to walk a lot but it seemed to be in a good spot, good shopping nearby). The room had a safe. Secure entrance and could leave the luggage after checking out. The price seemed like a very good value for the money.

Wish it had a washer. It was also a little noisy, although probably not unusual for Venice (the city wakes up early and there is a lot of honking on the canals).

I liked the space, it is big and confortable, and it has a kitchen well equipped. The location is also good.

It was in a wonderful location, close to everything and the staff was very friendly and nice.

It would be nice if they changed the towels every day and clean the room every day, but I understand - it's a residence, not a hotel.

Ai Carmini is located in a relatively quiet and low-tourist traffic area of Venice. Our room was very well-equipped with cooking things and a refrigerator and tastefully decorated with nice paintings on the walls.

The check-in and check-out times are fairly stringent, and weren't suited to our trip. I would recommend planning around them. That being said, everything worked out perfectly, but we had the feeling of inconveniencing the staff a bit. Just pay attention to check-in time (it's before 14:00).

Lovely, clean open-plan apartment in quiet, atmospheric location. Plenty of room for 4. Helpful staff (but NB this is not a hotel with a manned reception desk; you need to keep them informed as to your arrival time so they can meet you). Small supermarket and bakeries within 5 min walk.

It seemed that the cupboards had once been well-stocked with kitchen equipment, but that breakages had not been replaced. For example, we had plenty of dinner plates, but only one wine glass, five cups and one mug.

The view was nice and located close to train station. Good size accomodations.

Bed was not set up correctly and was very uncomforatable. Tv did not work.
